So back in June I was drawing more and totally ready to get back to dA & post regularly once more, but then life kind of changed those plans. My brother got diagnosed with cancer again, a more aggressive form than before. Spent the end of June and most of July in the hospital with him.

Thankfully, for now, he and we are all finally at home for a bit until test results come back and either he gets another round of chemo or it's on to the next step of treatment with a bone marrow transplant. So far I look to be the donor match, but again waiting on test results to fully confirm. I'm trying to stay cautiously optimistic about all these tests and things. I know God's in control of it all, no matter what happens or what I think should happen, but it would be nice if test results could be a little faster. (...and literally as I was typing this post up one of the Doctors called with one of the test results. haha~ They seem confident that he should not need the second round of chemo and we can move on to all the transplant preparations.)

My brother's optimism and faith are so inspiring though. He's the one sick again, but just like last time, he's more worried about all of us being okay. When the doctors' explained about the bone marrow transplant, his first question was if the /donor/ would be in any pain from it. When he had to get blood transfusions he just joked about being a vampire. He's mentioned before that he's not really too worried about everything. He trusts God is in control of it all, as one song says "even if the healing doesn't come", and he knows even if the worse were to happen he'd be in a better place.

I pray to have that faith, faith that handles the ups and the downs. It's hard though, because when the hard times come, often it's all at once, and it IS so much more than we can handle alone. But, WITH Christ, we can get through it. My dad said sometimes instead of praying for the mountain to be moved, we need to pray for the strength to climb it.

At the moment, I'm just enjoying things being ordinary and 'boring' for awhile. I will try to get back to things as I was attempting before, but do have patience if I disappear again (I'd tried to post something sooner while at the hospital, but dA is apparently blocked there...). Will be trying to get daily or every-other day posts of art until I get my page caught up with all my recent pieces and favorite older drawings.

오랜만이에요~ Hello all who are still following me. I apologize that this dA acccount of mine is seriously neglected, I just have a hard time trying to keep up with dA. >//<;; I'll try to login a little more frequently to at least check up on friends' art and comment on things, but I'm not sure if I'll be trying to be completely active on here again. I could try if enough of you would like that, but it's hard to keep up with multiple sites to put art on. XD

So, umm... many apologies to you all who have +watched me here.... I've been extremely horrid at keeping this poor dA updated... BUT that shall change! I've decided I've missed using dA, so I will be trying my very best to get active on here again! d(*A*)b

Would you be wanting me to first upload some of my older favorite works that I haven't yet put up here and work my way back up to my current works, or just go ahead and post newer stuff?

1) I plan to make a manga eventually, though I have so many different stories I'm unsure which to start with and I'm still not exactly confident in my artistic ability to begin trying to draw it yet. Although I do have the starting partly written out for one... so maybe I just need to stop making excuses and start practicing drawing the opening scene of ShiJou with my adorable mentally unstable little assassin and the poor doctor's severed head... XD (.....the story's not thaaaat disturbingly violent really lol, Renoi just enjoys what he does a little to much sometimes.)

2) I enjoy designing things (clothes, characters, web graphics, ect.)

3) I've lived in 4 countries (U.S, Japan, Korea, Philippines), but I've never lived in the exact same place for over 3 years .

4) I read fanfiction almost daily (mainly due to the fact that I generally let my brother use my laptop most of the day and I seem to think the web browser on my DSi was created for reading XD). To the curious my fanfiction reading ranges from Yu Yu Hakusho to BeyBlade to PowerPuff Girls to Criminal Minds and most everything in between~.

5) I highly neglect this dA of mine and prefer spamming my tumblr art blog thekawaiione.tumblr.com

6) I'm a CHRISTian~ ^^v  though personally I find the statement kinda meaningless if actions don't reflect it... (<.< >.> bad experiences with church people.)

7) Though I rarely post traditional art anymore I do actually draw on paper often; I just don't bother to take the time to photograph, edit, crop, and upload my traditional stuff much.

8) I enjoy reading about myths, traditional ghost stories, mental illnesses, and other odd things like that.. ;

9) I have never been in a relationship or ever kissed anyone outside of family (and that's generally just on the forehead or cheek).

10) I can no longer think of anything to type here... and it's 3AM and I'm fever-ish so... I think I'll just stop this now.. ^^

/and regardless of what the rules say.... I kinda don't feel like tagging anyone. >///<;;;

A new layout for my website is in the works now, although I'm still not really 100% sure if my parents will really be extending my hosting when it ends in a few weeks...... they said they will, but money is tight and I'm overly pessimistic lately. OTL
